C'mon, v2009 MR1 - why did you turn off the little "preview" message that used to appear when the user hovers the cursor over a strange new icon?
How do I get it back? It helps me memorize them.

C'mon, v2009 MR1 - why did you turn off the little "preview" message that used to appear when the user hovers the cursor over a strange new icon?
How do I get it back? It helps me memorize them.

It's all pattern recognition.
Search the forum for 'tooltips', I think that question/problem has been up before.

close a few aplications this hapens to me if i have more than 5 apps open or if i'm using CATIA

Search for "tooltips" turned up that Wes made a thread about the same problem when he upgraded to 4.2:

I am heartened to see the crack Hexagoons fixed this known problem in the newer versions. (Oh yeah, I reported it. More than once even.)
If you have an autofeature window open, then tool tips work. If you do not have an autofeature window open they do not work.
I have no idea why, and apparently not only do the Hexagoons not know why, they can't fix it either.
